We were among the firsts to have an active interest in the Via Francigena;
Since 2007 we started walking the Via Francigena while still in the making ; we scouted for traffic-less routes, searched for good accommodations along the route even in completely out of the way places and tried to write easy to follow route notes;
in so doing we acquired a in depth knowledge of the Via Francigena and we can truthfully say that we are among those who know better this beautiful pilgrimage route.
Now, because we think that a pilgrimage route is a path along which “friendship” and “sharing” are the key words we would like to share the knowledge that we have with as many peoples as we can.
While walking towards Santiago we met people from all over the world sharing freely their experience; enduring together the hardship of the Camino; feeling the same sense of belonging.
There are not as many people walking along the Via Francigena, however we thought we could recreate a similar atmosphere of friendship and sharing by getting together a small group of pilgrims from different parts of the world.
We set a few dates for our guides to lead the “Via Francigena groups” that would walk the most interesting parts of the Via francigena for one week.
– From San Bernardo Pass to Pont St Martin
– From San Miniato to SanQuirico d’Orcia
– From Montefiascone to Roma
The main Languages will be English and French, however our guides speak also Italian and Spanish, so it could be a real multi- nationals group.
The Via Francigena Groups package includes:
5 nights in HB (breakfast and suppers )
2 nights b&b
A walking tour leader
