Day 1: Arrival in Camogli (from Genova by train)

Camogli is a charming town with lively streets, cafes, restaurants, and nice boutiques. Check-in at hotel la Camogliese.

02

Day 2: Portofino penisula

Hike from Camogli to San Fruttuoso Abbey set in a small cove only reachable by boat or on foot. is a demanding hike, with plenty of ups and downs. About half-hour before reaching the abbey you can stop for lunch at “Agriturifugio Mulino” A simple farmhouse away from the crowd of the abbey. If you start at 9 am from Camogli we can have lunch around 12h30. Another half-hour hike and, after a quick look at the abbey you can catch a boat to and therefore we will have enough time to catch the boat to Portofino, the small harbor of the jet-set crowd. Admire the yachts and the outrageously priced boutiques before returning by boat to Camogli.

    Overnight in Camogli.
03

Day 3: Private transfer to Monterosso

Walk to Vernazza the second village of the Cinqueterre (it is not long, 1h30, but is quite steep!) and continue the hike to Corniglia. Back by train to Monterosso.

Day 4: Train to Levanto and walk back to Monterosso

It is a nice hike which offers superb views of the coast - Pic-nic along the road is possible, however the FAI point which we saw this year under construction, might be ready and lunch could be there.) A short rest at the hotel then you can walk (10 minutes) to the Buranco organic farm for a visit of the winery a wine tasting and supper on their terrace.(we can book it for you).

    Overnight in Monterosso.
05

Day 5: Visit Corniglia and Manarola

Train to Corniglia and hike to Manarola via Volastra A tiny village high perched on the hill overlooking the coast. Lunch can be there. It is a tough walk Train back to Monterosso.
